This badge is a chromed metal, 1 piece rising sun ‘hat’ badge, which is based on the actual uniform insignia worn by Nurses of the 1st and 2nd Australian Imperial Forces during WW1 & WW2. This reproduction piece is struck from the same design as the actual badges worn and measures 45mm x 62mm. Pin backed to rear.
