Offered is an original General Service Medal 1918-1962, with clasp S.E. ASIA 1945-46, to Barber Ram, who served there with the 12th Frontier Force Rifles.

36mm circular silver medal with ornate scrolled ribbon suspension bar with ‘S.A. ASIA 194-46’ clasp; the face with the crowned head of King George VI facing left, circumscribed ‘GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:’ (George VI by the Grace of God King of Great Britain and Emperor of India); the reverse with a standing winged Victory with Greek helmet, an upright trident in her left hand, a laurel wreath in her right hand crowning an upright winged sword; attributed on the edge to 3930918 BARBER. ROTHAL RAM, 9-12 F.F.R. .; very good condition or better, with tone areas overall; on original ribbon.
