**SOLD**
Crimea War Medal 1854-56, one clasp, Sebastopol (LIEUT. F. L. EDRIDGE 1ST BN 20TH REGT.), contemporarily engraved in large upright serif capitals. Colonel Frederick Lockwood Edridge served with the 20th Regiment (East Devons) in the Crimea in 1855, including the siege of Sebastopol and capture of Kinbourn (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Also in the Indian campaign from August 1858, including the Trans Gogra operations under Lord Clyde. Of interest, on the 28th June 1907, as one of the last surviving Indian Mutiny officer’s, he was awarded the Companion to the Order of the Bath as part of King’s Birthday Honours List.
