Allan Marshall was granted his commission on the 19 April 1941 as a 2nd Lieutenant (Emergency commission) after graduating from an Officer Cadet Training Unit. His Efficiency Medal was gazetted 12/12/1946 with his rank as temporary Captain. 17th February 1948 promoted to Captain, Major 4th December 1955 & resigned his commission 7th June 1957.
