Description

For sale is a genuine 1888 Pattern Enfield Lee Metford dagger/bayonet & scabbard by W W Greener of Birmingham, a rarely seen retailer stamped bayonet.

The bayonet features wooden grips, with the locking lug (working). The double edged 30.3cm long blade is in good condition, with light wear. Blade W W GREENER BIRMINGHAM/SANDERSON SHEFFIELD maker marked, undated, with a retailer stampe to top of the blade tang. The metal & leather scabbard is in avergage condition, majority of the protective shellacking absent with metal frog button to chape. Blade slides in and out of scabbard with no issues. Measures 44 cm overall.
