Offered is an early 19th century Royal Navy ship’s mess food plate. Heavy lead type plate, with much use and wear, with makers marks, etc and issue x stamp to reverse. Measures 23.3cm wide.
This came from a RN medal and weapons collection, focussing on the Napoleonic wars and we would suspect this would date from that period.
