Description

Offered is an original medal group, as awarded to Private G A Von Broembsen, who served in the Queenstown Rifles during the Cape of Good Hope conflict and South African Mounted Rifles & Horse during the First World War.

Cape of Good Hope Service Medal 1880-97, 1 clasp BECHUANALAND, sloped engraved named PTE G.A. VON BROEMBSEN, QUEENSTOWN RIFLE VOLS. (66 issued to this unit); 1914/15 Star, impressed named  RFM. G.A. VON BROEMBSEN. 1ST S.A.M.R. &  British War Medal & Victory Medal (Bi-lingual South Africa issue) impressed named  PTE G.A. VON BROEMBSEN. 2ND S.A.H.

Medals are in generally very good condition, with very light wear overall & nicely toned overall. Medals court mounted onto a backing board for display. Medal roll included for 1st medal, as well as service summaries for units.
