CROATIA WW2 MEDAL OF THE CROWN OF KING ZVONIMIR BRONZE ISSUE WITH PARTIAL CASE

Description

Offered is an original Medal of the Crown of King Zvonimir, in bronze, with ‘flattened’ award card case.

32mm wide circular bronze medal with fixed hollow crown suspension; the face with the head and shoulders portrait of the crowned King Zvonimir facing left, inscribed ‘DMITAR ZVONIMIR 1076’; the reverse with the arms of the Independent State of Croatia encircled by the inscription ‘ZA ZASLUGE’ (for merit) and dated ‘1941’; on original military trifold ribbon. The original card case is present, though has been flattened, with lid detached and worn/creased.
