Up for offer today is this very well made Tactical Military Israeli Commando Bowie Leather Handled Knife. The 17.5cm / 7 inch long (full tang) high carbon steel blade, has thenwide ‘blood groove’ design to both sides of the blade. The edge of the blade is factory sharpened for immediate use.
The ricasso is stamped with John Nowill of Sheffield (English made) and also ‘Star of David’ of the Israeli Defence Forces. The grip is a polished stacked leather washer handle topped off with a brass pommel and hand guard which has the finger grip grooves for optimum performance. The leather scabbard is steel riveted and stitched for optimum strength, with the belt loop and snap button leather retainer. A well designed and finished hand to hand combat or survival knife. The entire length of the knife is 30cm/11 ¾ inches.
