For sale is a Queens South Africa Medal with two clasps TRANSVAAL, SOUTH AFRICA 1901, impressed named 5907 PTE E. HUTCHINSON. W. YORK. REGT. Court mounted for display it comes with copies of medal rolls, soldiers’ effects and newspaper article. Private Edward Hutchinson unfortunately died of disease (dysentery) at Wakkerstroom, on 13/4/1901. His name appears on the medal rolls as E Hutchinson and died on 13/3/1901, but H Hutchinson on the newspaper article and 13/4/1901 in the soldiers’ effects books.
