Early German N.S.D.A.P. Political Leaders Ortsgruppenleiter peaked uniform cap. Good brown leather peak, showing overall crazing, tan brown doeskin wool crown, piped light blue and to centre band, with early small aluminium eagle & 1935 era silver & enamelled cockade with swastika. Gilt bullion chin cords attached to the side toned gilded buttons. Very good shape to crown, with some scattered moth nips. Interior retains orange cotton liner, showing removed celluloid diamond and used tan leather sweatband, stamped EXTRA. In very good condition. Approx. size 57. Scarce, as this is the 1^st standardised political leaders type cap worn by members during the early to mid 1930’s.
