Offered is a Pacific Star, Defence and War Medals (1939 – 45), Australian Service Medal 1939 -45, all impressed named 33398 B.R.M. MACQUARIE. Court mounted for display and comes with copies of officer’s confidential report.

Flight Lieutenant Bruce Frank Matthew Macquarie was born on 24/5/1918 in Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted into the R.A.A.F 26/8/1940, as an enlisted man with the service  #33398. He was later commissioned and given the new service #02161.

Perhaps as a result of his annual report dated 9/3/1954, he resigned from the Air Force on 22/9/1955. He died in Brisbane 20/7/1988.
