WW1 British Army War Medal. Impressed named to rim 16246 PTE. W. S. GOODWIN. NORF. R.

Walter Simon Goodwin was born at Blythborough, Suffolk and enlisted at Norwich with the 9th Battalion Norfolk Regiment. Entering the war in France on 30 August 1915, he later transferred to the 8th Battalion. Goodwin was killed in action on 31 October 1916, he is commemorated upon the Thiepval Memorial. Sold as viewed.
