*LT. COLONEL LAMBORN AUSTRALIAN ARMY VIETNAM WAR ERA UNIFORM STEEL HELMET

Description

Offered is an original 1950’s era US M1 steel helmet & liner, this being numbered and named to Lt. Colonel Lamborn, RAASC.

Olive drab helmet shell, retaining majority of rough finished paint, with leather chinstrap (have applied dubbin to shell and strap to preserve).

Liner is the 1950’s tortoise shell type, with webbing and leather fittings, this last showing number and name, with a green painted section where presumably another name was before issue to Lamborn. Very good shape overall.
