Offered is an original and near mint condition 1917 dated Sanderson made First World War 1907 pattern bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet & scabbard features blued steel fittings, with pommel & working release button, lightly used condition wooden grips and metal guard. The 43 cm long steel blade shows the ?blood groove? to the centre of each side of the blade and stamped for Sanderson (Sanderson Bros & Newbould Ltd), being dated November, 1917.
