NAZI GERMANY 1ST MODEL 1933 SA DAGGER WITH SCABBARD BY CHRISTIANWERK OF SOLINGEN

Offered is a good example of a Nazi Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern, enlisted man’s dagger with scabbard by Christianwerk of Solingen. Features distinctive ‘tiger stripe’ brown wood grip, showing very light wear, which fits the cross guards well, retaining both brass eagle and nickel roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Cross guards are correct nickel type, Nrh (Niederrhein) Gau stamp. The Christianwerk Solingen maker marked blade measures 22 cm with a clear etched motto “Alles fur Deutschland” (All for Germany) retaining a sharp detailed finish to all inscriptions. Blade in very good condition, with much of the original cross grain present with only light wear. Very good 1st pattern scabbard retains nickel plated throat & chape, showing excellent brown finish to body, with a dented end ball. Overall a very good condition dagger, from a McSarr ‘4’ rated maker.
