NAZI GERMANY M33 SS GROUND ‘ERNST ROHM’ DAGGER & SCABBARD BY BOKER

Very good condition wooden grip is in good condition, with SS roundel & zinc party eagle & swastika. Silver-washed steel guards. 22cm 1^st pattern blade with 80% of the oval trademark for Boker of Solingen. Retains motto –Meine Ehre heißt Treue (my honour is loyalty), with centrally line wear and the Rohm dedication to reverse of the blade having been neatly removed, as was the custom after his murder and subsequent edict concerning these dedications and their removal after July 1934. The 1^st type scabbard being refinished, retaining nickel fittings, being in very good condition. While the dagger shows wear to motto and mismatched period parts, the price reflects and this would be a very good piece for a new SS or budget-conscious collector.
