Offered is an original East German Air Force General’s parade dagger, with scabbard, uniform hangers in the case of issue. Features gilt finished metal urn pommel, ivory coloured ribbed plastic grip, scabbard locking push button, with gilt finished acorn adorned metal opposing guard. 25cm long, double edged bright nickel blade, with twin blood grooves to both sides, number stamped 05288 to ricasso, next to the leather buffer pad. The scabbard features a black enamelled shaft, with gilt metal upper and lower chapes, the former showing oakleaf design and D.D.R. symbol, the reverse name plate blank. The twin hanger rings...

The twin hanger rings have the frosted white metal and bullion general officer's uniform hangers present. The dagger and hangers are housed in the red leatherette wooden award case, with plush red velvet, twist chord borders and locking latches. The original 12 month warranty paperwork is also included.
