POST WW2 EAST GERMAN ARMY OFFICER’S INIFORM DAGGER, SCABBARD & HANGERS KNIFE DDR

Offered is an original East German Army officer's parade dagger, with scabbard & officer's uniform hangers.

Features pebbled white metal urn pommel, ivory coloured ribbed plastic grip, fixed push button, with acorn adorned white metal opposing guard.
25cm long, double edged bright nickel blade, with twin blood grooves to both sides, number stamped 83110 to ricasso, next to the leather buffer pad. The scabbard features a black enamelled shaft, with white metal upper and lower chapes, the former showing oakleaf design and D.D.R. symbol, the reverse name plate blank. The twin hanger rings have the frosted white metal and bullion uniform hangers present.

Condition: Overall an immaculate condition set, perfect for display. Note: The push button may need a replacement spring, as the scabbard locking clip is present, but not operating.
