POST WW2 ERA UNITED STATES AIR FORCE GLIDER PILOT UNIFORM JACKET & PANTS 1950’S

Offered is an original tropical uniform for a 2nd Lieutenant of the United States Air Force.

Includes GA. Jacob’s & Sons made fine beige cotton, 4 pocket type jacket, with gilt rank bars, glider qualification wing badge and 2 rows of medal ribbon bars to top of left pocket. Retains all USAF toned white metal buttons and US badges to lapels. Silk lined, with tailor tag and monogram initials tag, with inner named details for: E V Matthews Jr, with date 4/55. Measures Shoulder width: 42cm, arm inseam: 43cm & length: 82cm.

Pants of same material, measuring waist: 72cm, leg inseam: 74cm.

Very light wear and use overall, a very good set which won’t disappoint.
