1960’s era Rhodesian tribal cheif’s gorget. Brass gorget, measuring 112mm x 62mm, with white metal badge of office to centre. Retains full chain, as worn. These were worn only by the cheif’s of each tribe on formal occasions in each region of Rhodesia. You don’t often see them for sale and as such are scarce.
