Offered is an original 1954 dated Soviet Army Officer's dagger, with hangers and belt.

Features a 215mm long double edged blade, showing “3nk 1954” (year of manufacturer) to obverse ricasso and accountability number 4948 to reverse. Gilded brass hilt fittings show virtually no wear and retain 100% of the gilting to the pommel cap and Soviet star, pommel with Soviet Armed Forces emblem on obverse and to the recurved crossguard. Light orange celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated mirror finish blade, very good and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Black leather-covered scabbard is in good condition with light wear and two very small leather loss points, with lower gilted fittings with two suspension rings. Obverse upper fitting is etched with Soviet Star and sunburst with reverse depicting the Kremlin. Dagger is complete with near MINT hangers, belt and buckle.
