Features a 21.5cm long double edged blade, showing “3nk 58” (year of manufacturer - 1958) to obverse ricasso and accountability number 07238 to reverse. Gilded brass hilt fittings show virtually no wear and retains 100% of the gilding to the pommel cap and Soviet star. Pommel with Soviet Armed Forces emblem on obverse and to the curved crossguard. Light orange celluloid grip is perfect with no cracks or chips. Plated mirror finish blade, very good and is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Black leather-covered scabbard is in good condition with light wear and, with lower gilded fittings with two suspension rings. Obverse upper fitting is etched with sailing ship and on reverse a ships anchor. Dagger is complete with hangers, belt and buckle.
