POST WW2 VIETNAM WAR AUSTRALIAN SLR BAYONET SCABBARD SWORD ARMY FROG L1A1

Offered is a near mint condition 1960’s era issued Australian L1A1 S.L.R. bayonet, scabbard & frog.

Bayonet & scabbard features near perfect matt black enamel finished steel fittings, with pommel & working release button, un-marked metal grips and guard. The 19.5 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade being nicely factory sharpened to blade edge, with sharp spear point. Standard metal scabbard, with matt black enamel finish. Complete with arrow stamped green canvas frog, retaining the belt hook. Overall length: 32cm long. A near mint condition example, famously used with the classic L1A1 Self Loading Rifle (S.L.R.).
