PRE WW1 BRITISH ARMY NAPOLEONIC SABRE FLANKERS CAVALRY SWORD & SCABBARD

Description

British Flank officers sabre, Napoleonic, early 1800s features a carved horn ribbed handle with wire twist grips, steel pommel and knuckle guard with flat ball quillon. The broad, 70cm curved blade, shows wide single fullers, plain bright surface and sharpened edge. Blade in generally very good condition with two minor nicks to edge, surface has very light age patina. The full steel scabbard is in very good condition, dent free with single belt hanger. Overall curved length: 81cm. Plain curved sabre of simple design with no makers marks.
