RARE AUSTRALIAN EIIR WILKINSON 1897 PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICER SWORD SCABBARD FROG Offered is a scarce Queen Elizabeth era issued Australian/British Army officer’s sword 1897 pattern from by Wilkinson Sword.  1897 pattern plated hilt with Queen Elizabeth II floral/pierced Royal cartouche embossed guard, with dark fish skin grip with wire twist grip. The brown leather sword knot id securely attached to guard knot recess. Near mint condition original nickel plating remaining overall. 83cm Wilkinson Sword etched name to ricasso, superbly etched unsharpened blade with Queens’ Crown and Coat of Arms, numbered 126911 to spine (mid 1970’s made). Brown leather scabbard with metal  nickel mounts, in which the blade slides in very nicely. Complete with brown leather sword frog, with leather and brass belt straps.  Scarce current issue/worn example, in near mint condition, ready to be service worn or displayed and overall measures 105cm.
