RARE CAST AUSTRALIAN ANZAC WW2 RISING SUN UNIFORM HAT OR CAP BADGE
ANZAC – ‘Australian Commonwealth Military Forces’ rising sun hat badge. This badge is a ‘sand’ cast metal, 1 piece rising sun ‘hat’ badge, most likely a middle eastern theatre made piece. This came from a small collection, which also had a number of truck battery melted rising sun collar badges, so I would guess maybe a Tobruk made piece. Measures 56mm x 41mm, with all casting faults and cut away section as shown.
