Offered is an original General Service Medal 1962-2007, with clasp Kuwait to Fusilier Salter, who served there with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

36mm circular silver medal with ornate scrolled ribbon suspension bar with clasp KUWAIT; the face with the crowned head of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, circumscribed ‘ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F.D.’ (Elizabeth II by the Grace of God Queen Defender of the Faith); the reverse inscribed centrally ‘FOR CAMPAIGN SERVICE’, a Tudor crown above, all within an oak wreath; attributed on the edge to 24749404 FUS N L SALTER RRF; in excellent condition; with Hayward’s medal book of information relating to the medal and clasp.
