Offered for sale is a genuine issue 493 M9 knife/bayonet by Ontario Knife Company.

The knife features an olive green handle, being made from textured thermoplastic nylon, with the standard cross hatched sectioned grip, retaining the functioning bayonet fixing port. The bayonet ringed guard connects without any movement to the 18cm black oxide non-reflective finish, 420 modified stainless steel blade, with milled saw teeth on the back, with wire cutting port, located above the factory sharpened edge. The ricasso is stamped M9 ONTARIO KNIFE CO.

The scabbard is also made from olive green thermoplastic nylon and is equipped with a quick release military holster which quickly releases the scabbard from your belt, with the wire-cutter device positioned to base of scabbard, the reverse showing the company stamp. The bayonet fits perfectly into the scabbard and grip is securely retained with the nylon fastening straps, with belt clip attachment able to be attached directly to the uniform webbing belt.
