Offered is an original very good condition ‘aviators’ shaped body, with metal & bullion F.A.A. cap badge, sewn to the cotton centre band, with black leather chinstrap, retaining both buttons. A single row of gilt bullion oak leaves to felt covered leather peak. Dark blue wool body crown, showing thumbnail size moth holes, with adjacent moth tracking area. The interior shows a purple silken interior, maker label removed, with the majority of the chocolate brown leather sweatband present. Approx. size 58. A very good, desirable piece.
