Rare WW2 German Navy officers’ 2nd pattern dagger with etched Damascus blade. Features cream grip with wire twist wrap and brass Nazi eagle pommel. Finely gilded fouled anchor guard with push button lock and nicely wrapped light gold bullion thread hanger knot. Superb acid etched Damascus steel 26cm long double blood grooved blade in excellent condition, showing fine details and retaining green felt spacer. The blade fits perfectly into the hand beaten pebbled, gilt washed brass scabbard, which retains double loose ring hangers. Overall a stunning and rare piece, measuring 42cm long.
