Offered is an original WW2 German trench boot knife.
Plain two-piece wooden grips, with standard rivets to each, straight metal guard and 17cm long blade, showing wear from pitting etc. Cleaned, retaining sharp endpoint, which fits well into the black enamel metal scabbard, which retains the belt clip. Overall length 29cm.
Used as a close combat knife, many seeing action on the eastern front and later in the Normandy and western European campaigns.
