Offered is a an original pair of WW1 medals, as awarded to Private Samuel Thomas Winsor, who served in the Royal Marine Labour Corps during the First World War.

Medals include the following awards: War Medal & Victory Medal, both impressed named to rims DEAL 14696 -S- S.T.WINSOR. R.M., 1939-45 Star, Defence & War Medals, un named as issued. Swing mounted.

Medals come with copied paper & basic research. It is unusual to see R.M. Labour unit medals come up for sale.

Samuel Thomas Winsor was born in  Babbaconbe, Torquay, Devon in 1872. Age at attestation: 46; Attested: Exeter. He demobilised in 1919. His WW2 service is unknown, possible family medals based on age.
