SCARCE 1942 US MARINE DOG COMPANY UNIFORM JACKET AUSTRALIAN MADE FMF PAC USMC

Description

Offered is an original & scarce Australian made WW2 produced U.S.M.C. pattern wool jacket to the Fleet Marine Force- Pacific, with Corporal stripes and ‘Dog Company’ FMF PAC badge. 

Jacket is complete with buttons & pockets serviceable, usual light wear, colours are excellent though slight discolouration to right lapel. U.S.M.C. collar badges with company rank badge to sleeves & discharge ‘ruptured duckl’ & ribbon bar to chest. Internal scarce Australian tailors stamp “D M SATHER” to inner sleeve surface.

Chest 43cm (arm to arm) & height 80cm, 49cm inner arm.
