Offered is a Vietnam era US M6 Bayonet with M8A1 scabbard as used on the M14 and M39 marksman Rifle.

Bayonet features a steel pommel with working external release button, with screw in black plastic grips and metal guard & muzzle ring. The metal guard is stamped US M6 IMPERIAL with Logo.The 17cm long steel blade shows period double edge factory and field sharpened blade edge, being in generally very good condition overall with factory black bluing 90% present. Standard M8A1 metal and composite scabbard that has been field blackened, retaining metal and webbing belt stud in good condition. Iconic Vietnam era bayonet.
