Offered is an original Bhutan 1974 Coronation Medal, relating to His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck, King of Bhutan, who took the throne of the mountain kingdom that year. 43mm wide, cupro nickel, die struck medal, bearing the effigy of the coronated king, with details of the coronation in both Dzongkha script and English to reverse. Retains suspension ring and correct medal ribbon. Scarce.
