VINTAGE POST WW2 BRITISH ARMY UNIFORM SLOUCH HAT DATED 1949

Description

Offered is a post WW2 era British Army slouch hat. Good felt body, no mothing, just the usual age fading etc, retaining pugaree, unit colour patch and turned up ‘button’ brim. Interior shows worn leather liner & chinstrap, with size 7 1/8 and manufacture by Vero Everitt LTD.

A really interesting piece and obviously made for service in areas such as Africa, where this would have seen much use during the 1950’s.
