Offered is an original cased Polish Merit Cross in silver. 42mm wide red enamel and silvered metal Leopold cross with ball-tipped finials, rays between the arms, with loop and laurel-decorated ring for ribbon suspension; the face with a circular central white enamel medallion bearing the letters ‘PRL’ (People’s Republic of Poland) within red enamel and silvered rings; the reverse plain; all enamel intact; on worn original ribbon. Medal is housed in its original red card case, with embossed Polsih eagle motif to top centre of lid.
