1980’s era Western Australia Police Force uniform ‘Akubra’ type hat as worn by Sergeant Patrick Vincent Drew.
Light brown felt body, with 6 air vents throughout, dark blue & white checkerboard centreband and old style Dieu Et Mon Droit WA Police cap badge, in good condition, correctly affixed through centreband eyelets/loops. Interior shows the dark brown leather sweatband, stamped ‘100% pure rabbit fur felt, super fine quality – genuine leather sweat band’, showing the centre sticker having been removed. Size tagged 60. A great display piece and rarely seen akubra type hat.
