Description

Rhodesian General Service Medal. 36 mm wide circular cupro-nickel medal with clip and ornate scrolled ribbon bar; the face with the full-face portrait of Cecil Rhodes; the reverse with the arms of Rhodesia; impressed named to 33611 H F/R C. MUNIDZI; in exceptionally fine condition, on original ribbon.

Zimbabwe Independence Medal. 38mm wide circular gilt bronze medal with scroll decorated with sprigs of laurel and eyelet for ribbon suspension; the face with a Zimbabwe bird rising from a fire; the reverse with a view of the ruins of Zimbabwe, a rifle and mattock crossed on the ground, circumscribed below ‘ZIMBABWE INDEPENDENCE’ and dated ’18 APRIL 1980’; numbered 60235 on the edge; on original ribbon.
