Offered is an original Model 1935 German steel helmet, with leather liner & chinstrap.

Very good steel shell, sized 64, retaining the Norwegian refinished dark green paint finish, with majority outer paint remains, with some very small scratches & wear and tear commensurate with age and use (no dents showing). Light movement to the 3 flat pins, with the interior showing the field green paint scheme, with markings for the factory issue number 3509, with the factory stamp showing ET64 (Eisenhüttenwerk Thale/Herz, sized 64). The aluminium liner band is present, with a very good conditioned Norwegian leather liner, showing drawstring & size stamp 57. The liner does show service rubbing & wear, but solid and very presentable. The helmet is completed with the Norwegian leather chinstrap, being firmly secured to the aluminium buckles.

Overall, a very good condition helmet, in very good condition. We have applied dubbin to the leather and enamel, simply to remove dirt & grime.
