Offered is an original Model 1890 German steel helmet, with post war Thailand Army leather liner. Very good steel shell, retaining the Japanese wartime paint finish, with 65% paint remaining, with surface rust and use (no dents showing). Retains large yellow 5 pointed star to centre. The interior showing the exact paint scheme as shown on the outside, with post war Thailand Army leather liner, showing only light use. Overall, a good condition helmet, this being the standard Thailand post war refurbished WW2 Japanese issued helmet, making this an excellent restoration piece to add to your collection.
