WW1 Australian 1907 Pattern ‘Hooked Quillon’ Parade Bayonet.

Chromed metal furniture overall, with pommel, numbered 26069, light wooden grips and steel hilt, Department of Defence/Arrow marked with quillon. 42.5cm long blade, maker stamped for Lithgow Small Arms & dated 1915. Brown leather & steel scabbard in very good condition, with stamps for Lithgow manufacture, with stamped date 1916. Comes with the original light brown leather frog, stamped AUSTRALIA – W. ROWLAND W.A. 1916. The 1915 hooked quillon is the rarest of the Lithgow produced bayonets, as most had either had their quillons removed or manufactured without them by this stage.
