WW1 AUSTRALIAN MARKED 1907 PATTERN HOOKED QUILLON BAYONET WILKINSON SWORD MARKED

Description

WW1 Australian marked 1907 Pattern Enfield ‘Hooked Quillon’ Bayonet.

Stamped N.S.W. 13105 (New South Wales) to pommel, light wooden grips and steel hilt, with quillon. 43.5 cm long blade, maker stamped for Wilkinson Sword & dated February 1910. Blade shows very light wear with some of the original protective finish remaining. Blade shows the original factory sharpening and one minor nick towards the pointed blade tip. Black leather & steel scabbard in very good condition. A very nice piece indeed, being marked for use in New South Wales.
