Offered is a Full sized set of medals, for First World War service awarded to 6891 Private Thomas Taylor, who served with the 28th Battalion. Medals include the following awards: War Medal & Victory Medal. Both impressed named to rim 6891 PTE T. TAYLOR. 28 BN AIF. Included in the cigarette box are his dog tags, rising sun hat badges, Australia shoulder badges, Silver War Badge, numbered A77340, his early WA stamped & numbered 9132 Returned Services League badge, WW1 peace silver medal & 1945 victory medal. Very hard to find a complete group like this, with the associated badges all together. Thomas Taylor was born in Leicester, England & enlisted 12/1/1917 in Northam, aged 27 years and was allotted to the 28th Battalion, being part of their 20th Reinforcements. Served in France and returned to Australia 22/9/1919. Listed as died in Perth 9th December 1966.
