WW1 British Army 1915 medal trio to Lieutenant Pearson, who during the Great War, served with the Royal East Kent Yeomanry, was wounded in action at Gallipoli, R.F.C. Officer Cadet who was subsequently posted as Hon. Lt. Quartermaster 44th Bn. A.I.F. 1914-15 Star, impressed named 1951 PTE. A,E,PEARSON, R.E.KENT YEO; War and Victory Medal, impressed named 1951 PTE. A.E.PEARSON. R.E.KENT YEO. Comes with copies M.I.C., medal rolls, enlistment papers 1918 (discharged from RFC to Join Army), joining instructions for RE Officer Cadet Unit, RFC service papers, copy newspaper article and basic research. The medals are unmounted. Albert Ernest Pearson was born 1895. Home address recorded as Sheerness. Enlisted 14/9/1914 to Royal East Kent Yeomanry. Served Gallipoli & Egypt. Regimental number 1951. Landed Gallipoli 7/10/15. Gallipoli movements of the E.K Yeomanry: 1st October 1915 Arrived Lemnos. Remained in Mudros harbor then to Helles and landed on the 8th. Moved forward up Gully Ravine and to bivouac near Gully Farm. Attached to 42nd Division. It is recorded by Ian Hamilton in his book Gallipoli Diary that many of the Regiment has caught enteritis.
