Offered is an original German First World War era Front Line fighters association combat award badge. 53mm high die stamped alloy badge in silver wash. Toned overal, showing various arms of the German forces to centre, surrounded by an oakleaf border, with dates 1914-1918, circumscribed by inscription of “FRONTKÄMPFER DES WELTKRIEGES” (“FRONT FIGHTERS OF THE WORLD WAR”). The badge is marked, “D.R.G.M” and “Ges Gesch”. Complete with vertical pin-back device.
