For sale is a set of WW1 medals being the British War and Victory Medals named 2 LIEUT W.S. LAYCOCK. Court mounted for display they come with copies of MIC, medal roll and picture. 2nd lieutenant William Shepherd Laycock was born in Keighley in Yorkshire in January1879. By 1901he was working as a teacher and living in Skipton. The 1911 census records him working as the head teacher in Urchfont.
