Offered is a 1920’s era Weimar Germany Field Marshall Von Hindenburg head and shoulders profile brass wall plaque. Lovely die struck piece, with brushed highlights, retaining hanging hook. Measures 145mm x 195mm.

Most likely sold as a fund raising piece for the aged war hero’s presidential campaign in 1925, in which he was ultimately successful, retaining the presidency until his death in 1934.
