Offered is an original 1917 dated Wilkinson Sword made First World War 1907 pattern bayonet with scabbard, as issued and used by Canadian forces. Bayonet & scabbard features steel fittings, with Canadian issue marked pommel & working release button, used condition wooden grips, with carved initials and metal guard. The 43 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and stamped for Wilkinson (Wilkinson Sword of Pall Mall), being dated August, 1917.
